A new adventure

Can a company be a dual citizen? Certainly people can -- Jocelyn’s mother is and so is one of her brothers. But how about a company? We’re about to find out, with a grand, trans-Pacific experiment.

Heaven in Earth has made friends and customers in most of the world, but until now we’ve avoided North America, for a variety of aggravating business reasons. We’re taking a deep breath, however, and diving in.

We’re not exactly doing it as an Australian company, however. We’re doing it as an American one. This hocus-pocus is carefully thought out. As a company incorporated in the United States, we expect to be better able to serve a new family of retailers in that country and Canada without some of the annoying logistical issues that kept us away until now.

In many ways, it’s an obvious thing to do. After all, Jocelyn was born in the United States and lived there until her family moved to Sydney when she was 6 years old. (That explains her neither-here-nor-there accent.) So in a way, this is both a homecoming and a new start in a new part of the world.

Our American affiliate has its own web site -- https://heaveninearth.co -- and we hope to flourish in American soil as well as we have in Australia.

We’ll be ready to ship to American and Canadian customers in February. That’s also when we’ll introduce ourselves in person at the NY NOW lifestyle market in New York City, about 30 blocks south and a dozen east of where Jocelyn (and both her brothers) were born.

She’ll be at Booth 3551 of the NY NOW show, Feb. 4-7, 2018, at the Javits Center in New York City. And then at Booth 7303 of Natural Products Expo West, March 9-11, 2018 at the Anaheim Convention Center near Los Angeles.

If you’re in either place then, we hope you come by and say hello. If you can’t make it there, pre-ordering is available for retailers at www.heaveninearth.cloudcatalog.co. And no matter where you are, please wish us luck!
